Spontaneous Potential Mapping
Spontaneous potential mapping detected a concentrated source of natural electrical current of the type typically associated with concentrated downward infiltration of water (streaming potential). Subsequent excavation of this location exposed a developing sinkhole caused by a broken roof drainpipe.
