Newly completed 11-acre double lined landfill cell with known
leak(s) as evidenced by water flow in the detection zone following
rainfall. Two leak locations were detected and pin-pointed (in
approximately 5 hours) by Enviroscan using geoelectric methods.

Pin-pointing allowed immediate hand excavation of the primary liner at precisely
the correct spot to expose a leak.

This leak consisted of two pin holes where pointed cover stones punctured
the protective felt (white) and underlying liner (black) - note utility
knife for scale.
